The single figure for July is Spikor, the spiny, purple, pig-nosed warrior. One of the most straight forward figures, Spikor is a great addition to the collector’s shelf.
Spikor dons removable armor with pointy spikes that could actually bother you if you squeeze too hard. His head features the same firm spikes, a great sculpt and some painted up eyes.
Spikor includes his classic orange club with a hand guard and it even features different shades of the orange in the spikes. Also included is his trident which snaps on like the weapons Trap-Jaw, Roboto, Hurricane Hordak and Horde Prime come with—this allows you to swap his hand pieces if you like. The trident is made in two parts; the red “handle” and the “metal” “poker” are both detachable.
Spikor comes with a long Trident which gives the appearance of his 80’s action feature where the trident would pull out to become longer.
Spikor also includes a hand, which is just awesome so he can hold his club in either the left or right; it also gives him another grip for a weapon—maybe from a weapons pack, or an enemy that he defeated.
The back of the package features the usual “also available” and his bio.
His name is Kleffton…hmmm, sounds like a dude who lives in his parents basement playing War Craft while his mommy brings him Kool-Aide and brownies…other than that, his bio is ok, I still think Skeletor’s “Nailhead” was born the way he is, after all, Skeletor isn’t a bigot like most of the so called heroes of Eternia, he doesn’t care what his stooges look like as long as they kick some ass—sadly, they always fail, but what can you do.
Spikor gets a great spot on the “loose shelf” next to the Stink-Man (Stinkor) and Trap-Jaw because he is so damn cool!
GRADE: A (Spikor is just a great figure, good job on this one)!

I do not usually hold onto certain MOTO characters from the MOTUC line, but I am going to hold on to Spikor. He is a really cool figure. Plus it is nice to own something that used to terrify me as a child. lol Great article and images! I wasn;t sure the red piece could come off, so I am glad to see that it does.

Yeah, Kleffton–uh, Spikor is really cool and the red block can come off too, slap on something from one of the others and send him into battle–although, his trident will do just fine. I like the photo where he is looking at his club, he just looks cool.
Maybe “Nailhead” is scary to kids…Interesting thought.

Spikor has always been cool. I always liked his club too.
