Poison Ivy (Italian Package.)

From the original Batman: The Animated Series we have 2 versions of Poison Ivy. The original U.S. version and the Italian packaging. With the U.S. version being dated at 1993 and the Italian version dated at 1994, both packages have seen better days. However, they aren’t all that bad considering they are 17 and 16 years old.

Poison Ivy (U.S.)

The accessories are the same with very little paint variation. The packages are different by the U.S. version having a “box” bubble and the Italian having a formed bubble directly on the card without an internal rack or tray holding the figure and accessories. Very interesting to see the overseas figure and the alterations in the packaging.

Catwoman and Isis.

Next, from 1993 is Catwoman with Isis. Selina Kyle’s “lazy” friend can “lay” around the figures neck (I wish I could get my cats to do that!) She has 2 claws to fit over her hands and arms and of course her trademark whip. The package is decent with mixed areas of wear, however, it’s pretty nice for 17 years of age.

Harley Quinn.

Finally, from 1997 is Harley Quinn. For being the youngest piece of the bunch, she may be the most worn out. At 13 years old (not vintage enough…) Harley has some great weapons including a “Bang” gun and a rocket boxing glove with “HQ & J” in a heart on the side of the launcher. I have a loose Harley and it’s a nice figure.

Each has limited articulation compared to today’s standards. However, the detail matches the Animated Series and if these figures are to be displayed on a shelf, they would resemble either figurines or mini statues.
