It seems like everyone is attached to vampire projects these days, even Johnny Depp. Deadline reported that Depp will work again with his long time friend and director, Tim Burton. The vampire movie is titled “Dark Shadows” and based on a tv show that ran from 1966-71. I’ve never seen the show but most reviews I’ve read mentioned that the cinematography was dark and eerie. This kind of atmosphere is perfect for Tim Burton, maybe he’ll make it like Sleepy Hollow, dark and lots of fog.
Dark Shadows will be written by vampire author Seth Grahame-Smith. Grahame-Smith wrote “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” and “Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.” Both books are also coming to the big screen with Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) attached to “Abe Lincoln”.
