So I was looking into my sources ( BBC news on E3 info ) and the long rumors have been confirmed ><. It looks like Sony and Microsoft will tail Nintendo and there approach to dumb down games for “casual” appeal. Game developers are really starting to understand 3D graphics and physics to a higher level then before. Last thing we need is a lot of this talent shifting into a money making mode rather then finally really getting 3D to work better with our long running franchises.

It isn’t exactly all bad. I do understand and know that video games are all business, that is fine and has its place. I know there are bound to be some good games that will come from this sorta thing, but I would much rather have more focus on something that we have invested a large part of our lives and cash flow on…Hardcore games!. There are even rumors that Microsoft is mocking up a waggle motion controller. I know there is possibility there but honestly speaking, we’re getting this most of the time…

This has its place, which is certainly not my room! Other than that, lets hope some awesomeness comes out of E3 2008
