According to Variety, Rousey is currently in negotiations to star in the next installment of the Fast & Furious franchise. If her people and their people come to an agreement, this will be the first major casting move for the sequel. If you are not familiar with Rhonda Rousey, she is the first official female UFC fighter (as previously reported by NerdSociety). The last Fast & Furious film saw MMA fighter turned actor Gina Carano play a dirty cop who turned the tables on the Rock. Of course she met her end out the back of a plane traveling down a 6 mile long airport runway. It’ll be interesting to see what sort of part they have for Rousey and if she can act as good as she can fight.
Rousey has also agreed to star in Expendables 3 which is filming in Bulgaria. She will reportedly be training while not working on set in Europe in preparation for her fight on December 28 against Mischa Tate.
