Here comes another free card from the UFC, and will be shown on SPIKE TV via tape delay Saturday, Nov. 13th 2010 @ 9PM.
Yushin Okami vs. Nate Marquardt – Okami is an unpredictable fighter, one would think he’s one-dimensional, but he’s not. His striking is sub-par but it’s enough to keep the opponents away, and his wrestling is above-average. Marquardt’s stand-up is also sub-par, he usually shines with his takedowns and ground control. He is a strong wrestler, so I think he has enough to take Okami down, and keep him there for the majority of the fight.

Jorge Rivera vs. Alessio Sakara – Rivera is a good all-around fighter. He has a strong ground game, and his stand-up is above average. Most have the wrong idea about Sakara’s boxing, they think it’s great. Not really. His stand-up is predictable, and if you can defend for the first 3 minutes, Sakara will get tired and pretty much quit. I really don’t know why Sakara is still fighting in the UFC, they’ve given him so many chances, but I don’t see him truly running for the championship belt. Rivera needs to play this smart and avoid Sakara’s hands early in the first. During the second round, Rivera should be able to do as he wish to Sakara.
Rivera via TKO – Rd. 2
Dennis Siver vs. Andre Winner – Siver is more of a striker than a grappler, so I see him trying to keep this fight standing by keeping his distance and throwing combinations at Winner. Winner is good at the clinch game, and the short diry boxing technique. If Siver is strong enough, he’ll be able to keep Winner away from him, and go to town with punches and kicks. This will be a tough fight, but Siver will win via striking.

Amir Sadollah vs. Peter Sobotta – Sadollah is an all-around fighter, but lost to Dong Hyun Kim due to takedowns. With that said, Sadollah probably learned from his mistakes and will work on keeping the fight standing if he wishes. Sobotta is slightly better on his feet, but if Sadollah plays it smart, he can take this match to the ground and win by submission.
Saodollah via Triangle – Rd. 2
Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Goran Reljic – A matchup between a serious striker in Reljic, and a wrestler in Soszynski. Soszynski has a good chance at winning this fight. But, he cannot stand toe to toe with Reljic, otherwise, he could get knocked out. He needs to keep his distance and close the gap for a clinch then a takedown. Soszynski is a strong enough wrestler to take Reljic down, control him, and pound him out.
