Saturday, Oct. 16, 8pm ET on SPIKE – Do not visit MMA sites if you don’t want spoilers as this will be shown tape-delayed.

Okay folks, here comes another lackluster card by the UFC, but at least it’s free on SPIKE TV.

Michael Bisping vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama – Bisping will go for a takedown, but Akiyama will sprawl out, and keep this fight standing. Akiyama will win by out-striking Bisping.
Akiyama by UD.

Dan Hardy vs. Carlos Condit – This is a hard test for Carlos Condit, the once impressive fighter from WEC didn’t do too well on his first UFC fight. But, he’s won twice ever since. On the other hand, Hardy proved that he’s the real deal by lasting 5 Rounds with the champ, GSP. It seems like Hardy is the stronger fighter, his sub-defense is top-notch, and his striking is decent. He can grind this fight to the decision using his size and strength.
Hardy by UD.

John Hathaway vs. Mike Pyle – Hathaway is on a roll at 14-0. His last win was against the tough Diego Sanchez. Hathaway will go for a takedown and beat Mike Pyle on the ground.
Hathaway via GnP TKO – Rd. 2

Cheick Kongo vs. Travis Browne – Browne is a good striker with a record of 10-0. Kongo is a striker himself, and has beaten guys like Mirko Crocop. For some odd reason, Kongo doesn’t look too comfortable standing up. Kongo will try to press the fight against the cage. But, I feel that Browne can pull an upset and KO Kongo in the first round.
Browne via KO – Rd. 1

James Wilks vs. Claude Patrick – Wilks is somewhat well known because he was a TUF contestant. But, Patrick is actually a better fighter. Patrick has submissions and TKOs under his belt, while Wilks sports a record of 7-3. Patrick will outclass Wilks on the ground, and finish with a choke.
Patrick via Choke – Rd. 2
