Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin – This is the main event, and definately should not be. But, Brock Lesnar pulled out from his fight with Carwin, so we are stuck with this. This is a rematch, and both fighters are coming out from a loss. Ortiz got manhandled by Machida in his last UFC fight, while Forrest got embarassed by Anderson Silva with a one-punch KO. Ortiz isn’t as dominant as he used to be. he’s had multiple ACL surgeries, and he’s not getting any younger. But, Forrest’s self-confidence will be in question coming from the last KO. So, Ortiz should be able to take this fight to the ground, and win on points via GnP.

Josh Koscheck vs. Anthony Johnson – I’m really looking forward to this fight, because I simply want Koscheck to lose. Johnson is an up-and-comer with good potential. His last fight was in UFC 104 when he easily KOd Yoshiyuki Yoshida. He is a solid fighter, with good stand-up. His ground game is suspect, but he has a good sprawl. If he can keep this fight standing, he can win by KO. But, Koscheck’s wrestling is top-notch. I don’t think that Johnson will be able to sprawl all the way through the fight. Koscheck will take him down, and finish him on the ground.
Koscheck via TKO by GnP – Rd. 3
Amir Sadollah vs. Phil Baroni – This is a bad match-up for The New York Bad Ass. Baroni’s worse enemy is his gas tank. Sadollah is a versatile fighter with a good ground game. His stand-up is questionable, but he should be able to weather Baroni’s storm, take the fight to the ground, and go for the submission.

Luis Arthur Cane vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira – This should be a good fight between two world-class fighters. Nogueira, not to be confused with his HW twin brother, is a BJJ specialist. It’s about time that he’s in the UFC, he is a top-10 fighter with a great potential. This will be Cane’s true test in the UFC. If he beats Nogueira, I think that he’s in line for the title shot. But, Nogueira will ruin the party for Cane. Nogueira is a better all-around fighter. Nogueira will beat Cane via ground control.

Karo Parisyan vs. Dustin Hazelett – This should be a great grappling match between the Judoka and the Jiu-Jitsu expert. Parisyan has no stand-up, except for his sloppy over-hands. Hazelett promised to improve his stand-up game. But, let’s not be fooled here, this fight will hit the ground. I am hoping that the old Parisyan is back. The one that used to entertain the fans, the one that throws his opponents around with his excellent Judo. I have hope for this guy, and I think that he will come out better tonight. Parisyan should win this via ground control, and judo throws.
