Is Tom Cruise going back to the movie that made him a superstar, Top Gun?
MTV reports that Top Gun producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, has been approached to make a sequel to Top Gun.
“We kicked around some ideas because the aviation community has completely changed since we made the movie a long time ago. So we have to find a way in and how to incorporate the Maverick character into it.”
Jerry Bruckheimer also said that Tom Cruise tried to make a sequel to Top Gun before but it never worked out.
The movie that defined the 80’s cheese still has a lot of fans today. I bought it for $5 on the now defunct HD-DVD and the slo mo shots and music makes this movie memorable. I’m excited with the sequel as long as they have a classic motorcycle montage and songs from Kenny Loggins!
