The Return of Coco

poster The Return of CocoRecently announced Conan O’brien will be hosting a new late night show on TBS.  Just 8 months ago Conan gave a heart felt good bye to NBC & The Tonight Show.   All thanks to prior host Jay Leno who agreed to step down 5 years ago only to start another talk show in a prime-time slot.  Due to poor ratings rather than buy out Leno’s contract, NBC decided to move his show into Conan’s Tonight Show time slot push all other late night shows one hour back.   Rather than cause a big fuss Conan decided to graciously bow out returning The Tonight Show back to Jay Leno.

This news come conveniently the same day that Conan begins “The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour.”  A 30 city tour that will be co-hosted by Andy Richter as well as other members of Conan O’Brien’s late night show.  The tour will continue on till June but new show won’t began until November.  The show will air 11pm pushing back the already running late night show on TBSLopez Tonight.”   Originally Conan disagreed with the time slot because he’d be doing the same thing that happened to him on NBC to George.  But a phone call from George Lopez himself persuaded him to join TBS and to take the time slot.

George Lopez: “I welcome @conanObrien to his new home at TBS .. A new generation of late night is about to begin !!”
