It’s that time of year again with the sweltering heat and it’s a good time to take out your friends and family to the 2009 OC Super Fair. For those living in Orange County (or Southern California), consider yourselves lucky to have an eclectic lineup of musicians and performers. It starts off tomorrow and lasts for one month. I have listed some things that you can do at the fair and a complete lineup of famous musicians performing at the Pacific Amphitheatre (Date and Prices may change without notice).

When is it?

July 10, 2009 – August 9, 2009
Wednesday – Friday: noon – midnight
Saturday – Sunday: 10 am – midnight
Closed Mondays & Tuesdays

How much is it going to cost me?

General (13-59) $10
Seniors (60+) $7
Children (6-12) $5
Kids (5 & under) FREE every day

What should I be doing at the fair?

It’s mandatory when going to the fair that you get your grub on with the junkiest of junk food. You can get your fill of almost anything deep fried like Oreos, ice cream, Snickers and Twinkies. You can’t forget the funnel cakes, giant hot dogs, turkey legs, and more cholesterols than your heart can handle.

Shopping, petting animals, and the Wine Courtyard are also nice things to do at the fair.

But the OC Fair’s main attraction is Al’s Brain – a mind-bending exhibit and brand-new 3D movie starring “Weird Al” Yankovic, featuring an exclusive, never-before-seen 3D music video. Free with admission to the OC Super Fair.

But what if I’m a tough guy, what should I be doing?

If you’re a tough guy, than the Action Sports Arena is the spot for YOU!

You’ve got your pick of the litter with events like Skateboarding, Mexican Wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts, Demo Derby, Bull-Riding and other thrilling shows in the Action Sports Arena. Don’t worry, there’s a Radio Disney presents Savvy & Mandy in Concert for you sensitive types.

That’s great and all, but where’s my favorite tribute band?

Hold your horses, the Action Sports Arena also hosts your favorite tribute shows. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, and U2 tribute shows are what you can expect at the fair.

All shows in the Action Sports Arena are free with Fair admission*. Seating is first come, first seated. Reserved seating is available for all Action Sports Arena Events.*

*except Maloof Money Cup (July 10-12). Check ticketmaster.com for pricing.
