Ziff-Davis announced on Jan 6th that its 1up.com site is now owned by ugo.com, while EGM’s final print will be its current January issue. EGM as of late has been sticking it up to the man. Their articles have been unbiased and has gain trust from readers, especially since the wake of the Gamespot/Jeff Gerstmann controversy and their Assassin’s Creed review that had Ubisoft running around with their heads cut off.
This is going to affect me the most because now I have nothing to read while in the crapper. Nothing says convenient like browsing through pages for upcoming games and reviews while dropping your kids at the pool. And the funny thing is, I never actually subscribed to EGM. In 2006, EGM has been gracing me with their presence and I have been receiving their magazines for free ever since. My only conclusion is that a fellow with the same name as me isn’t getting his EGM. Now if only that same guy can subscribe to GamePro or Game Informer.
It makes me sad that GamePro and Game Informer are the only ones left and it makes you wonder when they’re going to be extinct.

EGM was too honest for its own good. They didn’t take bribes like other magazines, thus less funding.
It’s a a sad day when an unbiased magazine goes down while Game Informer is still alive.

genuinely a excellent publish. I’ll undoubtedly be reading through this webpage a lot more.
