In an interview with Parade, Terrence Howard is again bitching about being dumped by Marvel Studios. He talks about how Marvel just stabbed him in the back:
“Marvel made a choice, and it was a very, very bad choice. They didn’t keep their word. They didn’t honor my contract. They produced a great bounty with the first one but they put it all in the storehouse and you were not allowed in. They did the same thing with Gwyneth Paltrow, from what I’ve been told. They did it with almost everyone except Robert Downey [Jr.]. One of the things that actors need to learn to do is always stick together, one for all and all for one.”
He goes on about how he won’t take care of Marvel Studios, but how karma will do it for him:
“I’ve seen the script, I know what’s going to happen, but I’m not revealing anything. I believe in karma. When someone does something wrong, you don’t have to get them back. Everything right will return the favor for you. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the movie. I want to see Don Cheadle become me. No, I want him to do better than me. That’s what I really want to see. Don Cheadle was the reason I got Crash, so I have a lot of love for him.”
I really didn’t care for Terrence’s performance as Rhodey in Iron Man. He didn’t add anything special to the role and it felt like he didn’t even try. It was said that he received the biggest paycheck, more than the main man, Robert Downey Jr., for being in a small supporting role. Some say that Marvel is at fault because of money, but then if it’s about money, I think they made the right choice, since Terrence wanted a lot more money, and Marvel Studios is still a new company. Now that he’s out of the Iron Man picture, he’s busy scamming people in the movie “Fighting.” Coincidence?
What I really want to know is what Marvel, Jon Favreau, and Robert Downey Jr. have to say. Since this whole ordeal, they’ve been keeping quiet, probably knowing that Terrence is in the wrong since both Jon and Robert isn’t saying much to back him up.
Don Cheadle as James Rhode, now that’s what I’m talking about.

Howard sounds egotistical. He wants to see Cheadle become him? LOL. That was some lazy ass acting in Iron Man. There were also rumors that he didn’t get along with Jon Favreau and he was a diva on the set.
If the pay is so bad, why is Paltrow back for the sequel?

I don’t usually like it when an actor is replaced for the sequel in a role like this, but this time I gotta say it’s the right move. Howard just doesn’t suit the role of James Rhodes and there’s no way he would have pulled off War Machine. Don Cheadle on the other hand, I think will easily pull it off.
