On the one hand, this looks really bad, with the acting and cheesy story. On the other hand, it portrays the game pretty closely compared to other fighting video game movies by having characters that look like their counterparts where they fight in actual tournaments and a story that follows the main fighter in the game, unlike The Legend of Chun Li and the upcoming King of Fighters movie.
More reasons to check out this movie? Well for one thing, Nina is looking hot in her outfit and Shang Tsung is Heihachi! I’d still have to say the first Mortal Kombat movie is the only adaptation that I have really enjoyed.
