Yes, I’ve abandoned all expectations for any low-budget videogame-to-movie adaptations, but this little flick looks like it will be at least entertaining and fun. It’s looks to be more on the lines of Mortal Kombat and Dead or Alive compared to The Legend of Chun Li and Dragonball: Evolution.

Looks like most of the cast has some background in martial arts. Jon Foo (Jin Kazama) trained in Wushu, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Heihachi Mishima) was Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat, Luke Goss (Steve Fox) was fist pumping with Wesley Snipes in Blade II, Cung Le (Marshall Law) is an MMA fighter, Gary Daniels (Bryan Fury) was a former kickboxer (just like his character), and Lateef Crowder (Eddy Gordo) is a Brazilian Capoeria practitioner like his character.
