Temple of Darkness Sorceress!

It’s the coming of winter and my present to myself is the snowy Temple of Darkness Sorceress! No, she isn’t covered in the cold white stuff; however she is pretty damn cool! OK, stop groaning!

Temple of Darkness Sorceress comes straight out of the mini comic to collector’s shelves sporting the all white outfit from the mini comic of the same name.

Coming to DVD November 13, 2012 is Astonishing X-Men: Unstoppable, a motion comic by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Basic Figure Review!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Basic Figure Review!

After being on the market for a few months, the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures seem to be selling well. Made by Playmates, these figures have very nice cartoon detail and a ton of articulation considering that in the past, the figures had minimal, standard articulation.

Leo Don Raph and Mike 1024x338 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Basic Figure Review!

Starting with the Turtles, each figure is packaged in a great card and bubble with CG cartoon artwork and a turtle shell imprinted pattern on the bubble. Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael look great on the cards for those who collect mint on card.

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Oct- Rattlor And Frosta!

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Oct- Rattlor And Frosta!

October was a good month for the Masters of the Universe Classics line of collectible action figures. Featuring characters that are really cool and FINALLY a female Princess of Power figure that isn’t She-Ra or Adora!

In this thirty years of MOTU I am joined by Miss M for the review of Frosta because not only is it fitting for the number one She-Ra fan to present the new addition, but next year she will be taking over review duties for the 2013 Club Eternia subscription—but who knows, I might pop in to talk about a figure or two.

Voltron Classics: Green And Yellow Lion!

Voltron Classics: Green And Yellow Lion!

The subscription for Voltron Classics is finally over and now the Defender of the Universe is complete. This new Voltron (called Go-Lion in Japan) is a huge 23” tall and larger than life! Although each lion is a bit cheap in quality, paint application, lop-sided stickers and legs that won’t stay locked in place; the lions are also huge with opening cockpits for the 3 ¾ inch figures to sit inside and are amazing in a positive way.

In a line that was riddled with complaints from the time of the subscription drive, the end result for those who were lucky …

Voltron Classics: Red And Blue Lion!

Continuing off of the Green and Yellow Lions from the Club Lion Force, Voltron Classics collection, are the Red and Blue Lions!

Lance 1 Voltron Classics: Red And Blue Lion!

Lance is the hot shot pilot of the Red Lion, the first piece sent on the subscription. Named Isamu ‘Moody’ Kurogane in the original Go-Lion, Lance seems to have a hissy fit when he doesn’t get his way—who could blame him, after all, he has to be under Keith when he truly is the best—or so he thinks…
Lance comes in a great collector’s box with awesome Anime art on the front and a window to show the figure …

Voltron Classics: Black Lion And Voltron!

Voltron Classics: Black Lion And Voltron!

Finally, the Black Lion has come after too many months of waiting! If the huge box was any indication of how big this thing was, then opening it was a shock to the system! Complete with Pilot Keith, the leader of the Voltron Force, this final selection is the icing on the cake!

Keith also known as Akira ‘Chief’ Kogane in the original Anime Go-Lion, was a true heroic character. Leading his team in battle against giant monsters and Prince Lotor—and guys from other shows…ugh…WHY!!! Anyhow…the butchered Go-Lion wasn’t so censored in Voltron that Keith couldn’t show his bravery against the …
