Are you ready to rock with the latest offering from Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics line? August sees the release of Mara of Primus the second female figure from the New Adventures of He-Man branch of MOTUC. Let’s take a look!

The Masters of the Universe Classic releases are far from over as we have one more figure to look at from last month, and that is Galactic Protector She-Ra! As part of the Club Etheria mini subscription, Mattel issued out a newly designed She-Ra figure for the first time in a very long time. However, all is not what it seems. Let’s check things out!

Discussing the August releases from Masters of the Universe Classics in September continues with two looks at very different figures. The New Adventures of He-Man and Princess of Power both got plenty of representation for the month of August. For NA He-Man, fans got to rest their hands (finally) on NA Skeletor. With 2015 being dubbed the final year of Masters of the Universe Classics line as we know it, the rest of 2014 seems to have a different feel to it. I have been collecting the MOTUC line since its debut about six years ago. A great deal has happened during those six years and so far many of the releases this current year have been fantastic. July was a big month for Masters of the Universe Classics. Not only did we see new reveals at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, but we also got a whole slew of releases this month by way of the regular MOTUC subscription and the first month of the limited 6 month MOTUC Filmation subscription. One figure for the month of October, pretty weak because they moved all the good stuff to the last 2 months of the year.

Here we have from the New Adventures of He-Man, Flipshot…::sigh:: Icarius… Thanks to “another” company–NERF– having the copyright to the name Flipshot, Mattel had to rename their character Icarius–Spelled different. Everyone and their uncle knows who Icarius is so I wont go into it.  Icarius is however the European name for the Flipshot character, so in the end, the rename is ok.
