Thirty Years of MOTU: May- Stinkor, Slush Head, Snake Mountain Stands And Man-At-Arms!

StinkO 1 693x1024 Thirty Years of MOTU: May Stinkor, Slush Head, Snake Mountain Stands And Man At Arms!

Probably the most long awaited character in the MOTU Classics line, Stinkor features a ton of accessories and even a scented body. Embedded with patchouli as the original figure was, Stinkor can clear a room keeping He-Man and his warriors at bay…Apparently, even Skeletor and his group doesn’t want to be around him either.

Donning the orange armor that he shares with Mekaneck, Stinkor also has his blue shield and the recolor of Mer-Man’s head. If original Stinkor isn’t your thing, he comes with everything you’ll need to turn him into 200X Stinkor.

She-Ra: Princess of Power!

She-Ra: Princess of Power!

For years I’ve been trying to get a hold of a decently carded She-Ra from the vintage Princess of Power toy line and that day has finally come!

SheRa Vint 1 658x1024 She Ra: Princess of Power!

She-Ra: The Most Powerful Woman in the Universe, is the sister of He-Man OR her true identity of Princess Adora is the sister of Prince Adam, the true identity of He-Man: The Most Powerful Man in the Universe. (Of course, most of you already know that)!

She-Ra is copyrighted 1984 and is an action doll, she was built like an action figure but has rooted hair and cloth clothing. She-Ra includes a multitude …

MOTU Classics: Mekaneck Revealed!

MOTU Classics: Mekaneck Revealed!

Today (at least in my time zone) Mattycollector.com revealed Mekaneck to its club subscribers and I have to say if he comes even close to the prototype, he will be an awesome figure!

Below is the email that was sent, read it and check it out, the pictures of Mekaneck are quite cool although small, but you can see what you need to see and the neck looks great!

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Apr- Thunder Punch He-Man!

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Apr- Thunder Punch He-Man!

TP Heman 1 724x1024 Thirty Years Of MOTU: Apr Thunder Punch He Man!

This month offers what the real fans of MOTU have been waiting too long for, it’s Thunder Punch He-Man! A quarterly variant and not the figure for April. The Matty morons screwed up on the entire years line and release dates, so because of the situation Thunder Punch He-Man will now be the April figure regardless of what Mattel’s ringers and the dweebs that think they are the ultimate fans of the line say.

TP Heman 3 871x1024 Thirty Years Of MOTU: Apr Thunder Punch He Man!

One of the coolest figures from the early/mid 80’s, the original figure could have a ring of caps loaded into his backpack and when the figure was …

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Mar:- Kobra Khan!

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Mar:- Kobra Khan!

Kobra Khan.

KKahn 1 Thirty Years Of MOTU: Mar: Kobra Khan!

Kobra Khan, the single figure for March in the Club Eternia subscription service. The white mailer box features “Valley of Gnarl” at the bottom which is apparently to keep trademarks—its not a game after all, how disappointing.

KKahn 2 733x1024 Thirty Years Of MOTU: Mar: Kobra Khan!

Featuring a great sculpt with all elements being part of the body without any extra armor, Kobra Khan looks very close to the original minus the water squirt action feature. Kobra Khan has multiple points of articulation including the newer rocker ankles, this Evil Master of Snakes can be posed to the collector’s imagination.

Thirty Years of MOTU: Feb- Shadow Weaver, Fisto and The Sorceress!

Thirty Years of MOTU: Feb- Shadow Weaver, Fisto and The Sorceress!

February brings Masters of the Universe Classics fans the best installment to date!

ShadW 1 1024x479 Thirty Years of MOTU: Feb Shadow Weaver, Fisto and The Sorceress!

Starting with Shadow Weaver the 2012 Club Eternia Exclusive figure.  This is the very first Shadow Weaver ever created in figure form that is officially from Mattel.  Shadow Weaver is the Hordes evil witch who serves Hordak but assists Skeletor in an episode of the She-Ra cartoon.  Having a lesser amount of articulation to keep the form of Shadow Weaver’s outfit, this figure is still detailed to satisfaction for fans.  The arms and head have the usual articulation with the base of the figure being open and showing …

Demo-Man and Alcala Skeletor!

Demo-Man and Alcala Skeletor!

It took over a month but finally I received Demo-Man, the last figure from the 2011 Masters of the Universe, Mattycollector.com, Club Eternia subscription.

D Man 0 Demo Man and Alcala Skeletor!

The white mailer box is great, like The Wind Raider and The Star Sisters it has a misprint of “Snake Mountain” printed at the bottom where “Cringer” was at the bottom of the Star Sisters box and “Battle Ram Chariot” was at the bottom of the Wind Raider box–it’s got to be a puzzle game…? OR, Maybe not–whatever.

D Man 1 Demo Man and Alcala Skeletor!

Demo-Man is an interesting figure, he is the original concept of Skeletor as Vikor is the concept of He-Man. …

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Jan- The Star Sisters!

Thirty Years Of MOTU: Jan- The Star Sisters!

The Mattycollector.com Masters of the Universe Classics subscription has begun again for this, the 30th anniversary of Masters of the Universe. New for this year is a 30th anniversary logo and a really messed up subscription schedule starting in the first month. The original Jan figure was The Sorceress–so much for that–which will be coming in Feb–hopefully.

The Star Sisters were created in the middle to late 80’s as the last of the She-Ra action doll line. The characters were in one episode of She-Ra: Princess of Power, where Bow was showing off for them with Shadow Weavers wand and they …

Matty-Script: Dec- Battleground Evil-Lyn And The Wind Raider!

Matty-Script: Dec- Battleground Evil-Lyn And The Wind Raider!

WOW! Alright, let me get through Battleground Evil-Lyn and then we’ll get to…well, just wait for it!

December, the final month of the subscription service from Mattycollector.com—thankfully… Missing is Demo-Man–the concept of Skeletor was delayed until Janurary so for now it’s Battleground Evil-Lyn and The Wind Raider.

BG Evil 1 774x1024 Matty Script: Dec Battleground Evil Lyn And The Wind Raider!

Battleground Evil-Lyn is a repaint of standard Evil-Lyn however; it’s a very nice figure and comes with some cool extras. Apparently since the early 80’s everyone wanted an Evil-Lyn with her hair showing and here she is. Her short mop of white hair is exposed and her face sculpt is good—perhaps she appears older …

Matty-Script: Nov (ALTERED)- Swiftwind and Bubble Power She-Ra!

Matty-Script: Nov (ALTERED)- Swiftwind and Bubble Power She-Ra!

So…I was on the subscription for 10 months and then switched from my credit card to my bank card and it didn’t go through when they went to get the payment. I called their number in India and they couldn’t help me, so I am now off of the subscription–and they say you can’t cancel, its too easy to cancel, oh well!

So, this months actual figure is Snout-Spout the firefighting elephant guy. I have the original Snout-Spout and I think he is pretty cool, however I decided not to get him in order to have 2 of Bubble Power She-Ra.…
