January is the month that Masters of the Universe Classics fans wait for in utter excitement. Technically there are a few months out of the year that MOTUC fans nerd out over (SDCC I’m looking at you) but January is always the start to a new subscription year; where all the figures we’ve seen images of from the year before finally start shipping out monthly. A whole New Year is upon us and before the 2014 Masters of the Universe Classics subscription kicks in, I thought it would be fun to take a look at a 2013 release: Sea Hawk! This heroic Etherian Pirate has long been on many a fan’s wish lists, and in 2013 Mattel made those wishes come true. It has been awhile, hasn’t it? There have been a good number of Masters of the Universe Classics released in the last few months, but I have been unable to review them. The Masters of the Universe Classics Filmation mini-sub enters its second month with the release of Shokoti! August was certainly the month for magical women on Mattycollector, and Shokoti can easily be checked off the list of long demanded figures to be made.
