The Masters of the Universe Classics Club Etheria Subscription got tangled up last month as what was supposed to be an article about Entrapta for September now gets the royal October treatment! Masters of the Universe Classics showed no signs of stopping with the double feature for May. A standard figure and beast sized figure were released for subscribers and day of sales. Both releases were new to collectors who have long dreamt of owning Battle Lion (King Grayskull’s Battle Cat) and Scorpia (another great Horde villainess.) Neither items have been made before and while there was the typical reuse of parts, there are plenty of new sculpt pieces that make this a month of some magnificent MOTUC collecting. Let’s look!

Originally I wasn’t very excited about the September figures from Mattycollector.com. Hurricane Hordak and Leech huh? Well, I guess I’m still not excited, but I’m kind of impressed with the design.

Hurricane Hordak seems to be a re-hash of regular Hordak with gold armor which is pretty cool. I have a rough spot in mine but I really don’t care. The armor is hopefully vacuum plated (it appears to be) so it stays nice regardless of the fact that I probably wont open it.
