It’s no surprise that after unveiling there new teaser trailer the official website is up for SUPER 8. Bad Robot shows that it’s never too early to start your viral marketing. Reports say that letters seen in the teaser trailer spell out “scariest thing I ever saw.”
Which of course will lead you to www.scariestthingieversaw.com, a site that is part of the viral marketing. The website runs like an old computer command prompt. Push the right keys and you get a countdown that seems to be counting down to May 15. For what? Possibly the full length trailer or just another wild goose chase. Hell it might actually be the release date for all we know. What ever it is J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg have got the attention of the world and we are at there mercy.

Abrams said that this isn’t a prequel to Cloverfield and the youtube trailer I saw seemed like it’s not shot with a handheld cam.
So is Super 8 the name of the monster??
