Strikeforce has confirmed that Robbie Lawler will face former UFC fighter, Renato “Babalu” Sobral for the June 16th card in L.A.
Strikeforce’s original plan was to pit Robbie Lawler against Jason “Mayhem” Miller, but that plan is out the door after the mini-scuffle that ensued after the Henderson/Shields match. Miller got inside the cage and demanded a rematch from Shields. Shields and his team charged at Miller, and a short brawl ensued.
The Tennessee Athletic Commission is looking into the incident, and are thinking of suspending Miller. Coker (Strikeforce CEO) wants to respect the Commission’s decision, and not allow Miller to fight in the L.A. card.

The Lawler/Sobral fight should be as good, if not better, than the original match-up. Both fighters are aggressive; Lawler is a KO artist, while Sobral is known for tapping his opponents.
