Sat. Feb. 12th 10pm on SHOWTIME
Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio “Big Foot” Silva – Although, most fans are counting Silva out, he has a good chance at beating Fedor. Silva’s stand-up keeps on improving and his ground game is top-notch. On the other hand, Fedor is coming off a loss, and will be hungry for a win. Fedor will be impressive, once again, in this fight. Fedor’s hand speed will be too much for Silva, Fedor will finish Silva with a TKO mid First Round.
Emelianenko via TKO – 1st Rd.
Andrei Arlovski vs. Sergei Kharitanov – Both fighters were considered top-3 at one point in their careers. Both have fallen off the ladder, Kharitanov being worse than Arlovski. This will end in a KO as both fighters like to box. Kharitanov has been very sloppy lately with his stand-up, and Arlovski likes to stand around and do nothing. But, Kharitanov will be the bull, and will get countered by a left straight.
Arlovski via KO – 1st Rd.
Valentijn “Python” Overeem vs. Ray “Sugarfoot” Sefo – Overeem, not to be confused with his brother Allaistar is an experiened MMA fighter. Sefo, on the other hand, is an experienced K-1 fighter. His stand-up is simply amazing. But, this is MMA. I don’t think that Overeem will stand toe-to-toe with Sefo for a long time. Overeem will take Sefo down, and finish him with a submission.
Overeem via heel hook – Rd. 1.
Other fights on the card:
Shane Del Rosario vs. Lavar “Big” Johnson
Chad “Grave Digger” Griggs vs. Gian Villante
