Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers – Fedor, the #1 ranked HW in the world, will face the undefeated Rogers. Rogers is a threat to Fedor due to his size and speed. Most of his fights ended fast, so it’s hard to tell what other skillsets he might carry. For instance, his cardio is suspect, as well as his ground game. But, we know that his punches are crisp, and fast, so Fedor better not take him lightly because he can get KOd. However, if the fight hits the ground, Rogers will have no chance against the dominant former Pride Champion. I think that Fedor will throw heavy shots before taking the fight to the ground, once on the ground, it’s over.

Jason “Mayhem” Miller vs. Jake Shields (for vacant Strikeforce middleweight title) – Both fighters are identical in styles, but Shields is the favorite to win here. This will be a grappling match between the two bjj experts. Shields is slightly better, and more tested than Miller. Miller is always entertaining to watch because of his antics inside and outside the cage. Shields will win via ground control, and GnP all the way through the fight.

Shields was the EliteXC champ.
Gegard Mousasi (Champion) vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (non-title match) – This should be a Title fight with Mousasi defending his belt against Sokoudjou. I don’t know what the point is with non-title fights, if Mousasi loses, he becomes a paper champion, like Takanori Gomi back in Pride. Nontheless, this will be an entertaining fight between two solid fighters. Sokodjou has good stand-up but no cardio, Mousasi has good stand-up and good cardio. Mousasi will outsrike Sokoudjou, and finish him on the ground.

Mousasi dominating as usual
Antonio Silva vs. Fabricio Werdum – An interesting match-up between the two top-heavyweights. Silva is a beast, he’s a very dynamic fighter with a great ground game. But, Werdum is also a master in BJJ. He is versatile, and hard to finish. I see this fight going to the ground where Werdum will dominate Silva for the decision.
