Diaz vs Cyborg STRIKEFORCE: Diaz vs. Cyborg Predictions

Nick Diaz vs. Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos – Diaz has fought a bunch of strikers, and ended up finishing them off. But, Santos might be a different story. Santos was never considered a top contender in his weight class, but things have changed. Santos has been training with the likes of Rafael Cordeiro, along with Fabricio Werdum and Babalu. Santos’ last fight ended in a KO victory on Zaromskis. This will be a stand-up fight, as Diaz doesn’t have the takedown skills to get the fight on the ground. Santos will land some damaging blows, and finish the fight later in the 1st round.
Santos via KO – 1st Rd.

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza vs. Robbie Lawler – Lawler likes to brawl, while Souza is a submission wiz. Souza is a decent all-around fighter, while Lawler is a good striker with a questionable ground game. Souza needs to take this fight to the ground, and Lawler needs to keep it standing. Souza’s takedowns are pretty amazing, so this fight will hit the mat. When on the ground, Souza will control Lawler and win via UD.

Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson – We all know who Herschel Walker is, but who is Scott Carson? This will be an interesting fight simply because I want to see how Walker does. By the way, Carson is a 40-year old fighter who has retired and decided to make a comeback. I see Walker winning this via athleticism. I don’t know what to think of this fight.
Walker via strikes – Rd. 1.

Roger Gracie vs. Trevor Prangley – the last fight I saw Roger Gracie in was when he manhandled Kevin Randleman. Prangley has a lot of fights under his belt and somewhat well known. But, he was never considered a top fighter. However, this will be a good test for Gracie. Gracie has good submission skills (duh) and a decent jab. He will take this fight to the ground and finish Prangley with a choke.
Gracie via RNC – Rd. 2.
