Capcom knows how to party. With a huge studio filled with SSF IV kiosks, contests, giveaways, legendary Street Fighter players, pizza, drinks and cosplayers, thousands of fans gathered to a studio in the middle of a Glendale neighborhood where you had to park on the curb of a residential neighborhood, just like going to a house party.

There was a photo booth where you can be digitally inserted into a Street Fighter 4 background and a booth where you can get your makeup done…no, not to look pretty, but to get some cool scars.
They even had an oil wrestling competition. Nothing like getting oiled up by a bikini-clad chick while wrestling a shiny muscular dude in front of a crowd.
The main event ended with fame fighting game players, Daigo Umehara and Justin Wong, competing in a best of 5 exhibition match. The last round ended with Guile (Daigo) and Rufus (Justin) with a Double KO, ending the night with an awesome finale.
Well, all wasn’t without drama. It turns out that iam8bit was a victim of theft. Through IGN, iam8bit announced that a Mac Book Pro, 2 Kodak zi8 HD cameras and lots of SD cards went missing. Most importantly were the event’s footage that those SD cards contained. It was part of a documentary they were shooting about Daigo. Just to point out that the event took place in the middle of a ghetto-looking neighborhood in Glendale.
