clinton hillary Rant of the Week: Misogyny in the Current Democratic Primary

My rant of the week is on politics, and specifically the treatment of Hillary Clinton. I know that I usually write about movies but I am a fan of politics and self-described liberal do-gooder. There’s a sinister trend going on involving Mrs. Clinton that I am going to expose.

I’m no fan of Hillary Clinton but I’m growing tired of the rampant misogyny and woman-bashing from mostly male white commentators. If you watch cable news, MSNBC is in the tank for Obama……most of the men on their should just have sex with him and get it over with. Chris Matthews is probably the worst. He has made very offensive comments about Senator Clinton and seems to want nothing more than to prance in a field of daisies with Senator Obama.

When it comes to Hillary, she’s “too hard” and “angry”….or my fav codeword for bitch, “aggressive”. As much as I didn’t care for the sinister Margaret Thatcher’s politics and policies, does anyone think she gave a damn about being “softer”. She was an extremely strong leader. The media in this country is really getting nasty, if they don’t like Hillary for specific reasons, that’s fine with me, but a lot of these men clearly don’t like her because she’s a woman.

Obama has mostly had a free ride from the media but I expect that to change. It started last week when a senile, conservative freak named Bill Cunningham started screaming “HUSSEIN” over and over in reference to Obama’s middle name. Cunningham pranced around the stage, excited and pissing himself in his adult diaper, before McCain was due to speak. This racist nitwit brings out a lot of people who hate Muslims, even though Senator Obama is not, and never was, a Muslim. Muslims are the new most feared group in this country since 9/11 and the hatred and bile is reaching a fever pitch once again.

I am supporting Obama personally and a lot of it has to due with electability. I believe the United States may be finally ready to elect a Black man, but I fear we aren’t even close to ready to elect a woman for president.
