First of all, I’m glad Couture is finally back in the UFC.  Without him, the UFC heavyweight division is uneventful.  Couture will be defending his belt against the biggest jackass in MMA, Brock Lesnar in November.  This will be an interesting fight and will get a huge buy.  Couture is one of the biggest name in the UFC and Lesnar has a huge following because of his pro wrestling days.

What’s pissing me off is that UFC is dissing it’s current heavyweight champ, Antonio Nogueira.  Nogueira beat Sylvia for the belt when Randy walked out from the UFC.  They are pretty much stripping Nogueira off his title and giving it to Randy.  Then Nogueira will chance to get the belt if he beats Frank Mir later this year.  What?  Lesnar gets a title shot before the current champ, Nogueira?  Here’s the official statement from UFC’s site:

This championship bout, the biggest heavyweight title fight in years, will headline UFC 91: COUTURE vs. LESNAR, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008.
