Peter Briggs, the writer of the movie Hellboy, will direct the World War 2 supernatural Panzer 88. The movie will be about a five man crew operating a King Tiger tank, the biggest back then. Along their journey in the Russian border, the German crew will encounter monsters. Based on the production sketch below, it seems like they’ll also encounter top secret weapons. The budget for the movie is $20 million. While the budget is low, producer Gary Kurtz (Star Wars) is aiming for a movie similar to Crimson Tide and Hunt For Red October. Let’s hope that Briggs will be able to pull off an awesome movie for its budget.
