Shame on you, Kyoto Animation, you have lost an immense amount of respect from me.
For those who don’t know yet, the ending of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has swept across the globe, entrancing anime fans East and West to dance to the ending song, Hare Hare Yukai. What’s so special about the ending is that the dance is so well known.
However, lo and behold, I found out that all those dance moves have been taken from a J-pop group, Berryz Kobo. I shouldn’t really care since they both have settled this, but the fact that Kyoto Animation didn’t make up their OWN animation (as they ideally should, as an animation studio).
