Actor Jaleel White, who many may remember as the lovable iconic nerd Steve Urkel, is producing his own web-series called Fake It Til You Make It. Jaleel White has been keeping himself busy since his days on the hit show Family Matters, appearing in the movie Dreamgirls and the hit USA Network show Psych. Fake It Til You Make It will be Jaleel’s first time behind the camera as producer. The series will be produced by his company Sweet Irony Productions.
The series follows the exploits of Reggie Culkin (Jaleel White), a former child star turned image consultant and his three protégés as they hustle to navigate the façade called Hollywood. Their sole purpose? Do as little as possible and still reap the benefits of being a celebrity.
The director of the acclaimed ESPN web-series “Mayne Street,” Todd Pellegrino, also directs the series.
Fake It Til You Make It will also feature guest appearances by Wayne Brady, Kurt Fuller, and UFC fighter Rashad Evans.
FAKE IT TIL YOU MAKE IT will be released on HULU.com June 15th.
