UFC 89 looks to be a pretty good card, and will be shown for free on SPIKE TV. Here are the line-up for the televised fights.

Michael Bisping vs. Chris Leben

– In my opinion, this fight would not be main event worthy if it was on PPV, but since it’s free, how can I complain? Bisping should win this via ground and pound. Leben has been inconsistent ever since he started fighting in the UFC. He has heavy hands but can easily be submitted due to his carelessness on the ground.

Keith Jardine vs. Brandon Vera

– I’m sick and tired of seeing Vera fight in the Octagon. The UFC got ripped off when they signed this guy in a multi-fight deal. He’s had 3 fights since the new contract was signed, and they all sucked. So, here’s hoping that Jardine finishes this guy off and send him into early retirement. I want Jardine to win this one, but I have a gut feeling that Vera will take Jardine out since Vera is used to fighting in the HWs.

Rameau Sokoudjou vs. Luiz Cane

– Sokoudjou (Soko) is always entertaining to watch, and he’s got a big mouth, he’s a powerful striker with no ground game. Cane’s only chance in this fight is to take Soko down and submit him. But, Soko has an amazing sprawl, which is why I think he will win this fight via brutal KO.

Paul Taylor vs. Chris Lytle

– Taylor is always entertaining to watch, but Lytle is the opposite. However, I think that Lytle is too experienced for Taylor. These two might bang if Taylor is up for it. Lytle has a boxing background so he can be dangerous on his feet. I’d say that Lytle takes this via KO from stand-up.

Paul Kelly vs. Marcus Davis

– This could be a great fight between the two 170 pounders. Both fighters are known for their speed and agility. My predictions is that Kelly takes this to the judge.

Dan Hardy vs. Akihiro Gono

– I’m not sure who Hardy is, but I know that Gono is a versatile fighter from Japan. Gono is an elusive fighter that can strike, as well as grapple. I think that Gono should win this one via submission.
