Long Beach Fight Night was it again on Sunday night, delivering action packed bouts. Eight of the nine fights ended with a tko or sub with only one going to decision. Below are the results.
Kyle Bolt def. Alfredo Borrego Submission (Armbar) R1
Bolt got the early takedown but Borrego scrambled and got back up on his feet. After a takedown attempt by Bolt, Borrego landed on his guard. Bolt worked his guard and got the armbar.

Kenny Quach def. Jerad Jurgensmier KO (Punches) R1
This was a really quick match. Jurgensmier went for a takedown. Quach sprawled and landed on a full mount as Jurgensmier tried to go for guard. Quach landed heavy shots from the mount and Jurgensmier tapped.

Ray Cervera def. Thor Skancke Submission (Rear Naked Choke) R2
This was the fight of the night. Skancke controlled the first round with his takedowns. Cervera was trying to go for submissions but Skancke evaded it easily. Cervera pushed the second round only to be kicked in face. Cervera had a flash ko but was able to defend the ground and pound from Skancke. Skancke tried to finish the fight and it got him exhausted. Both fighters got back on their feet and Cervera got a takedown. Cervera got in a full mount and finished off Skancke with a rear naked choke.

Adam Rothweiler def. Tyler Aimer Submission (Armbar) R1
Another comeback fight. Aimer was winning the first round with his strikes and takedowns. Early in the second round, Rotheweiler was still dominating Aimer and did some ground and pound. Rothweiler made the mistake by trying to go for an ankle lock which gave Aimer the opportunity to scramble. Aimer landed on top of Rothweiler and got the armbar.

Isaac Gutierrez def. Scott Brommage TKO (Punches) R1
It was a slugfest with both men content on their feet. Gutierrez countered a kick from Brommage with a hook. This sent Brommage on the canvas as Gutierrez finished the fight on the ground with punches.

Chris Culley def. Juan Rivas Decision (Split)
The only fight that went to the judge. It was a back and forth fight with no one really doing much damage. Culley connected more clean punches even though Rivas was the aggressor. Very tough fight to call.

Carla Esparza def. Karina Hallinan Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) R2
Esparza controlled the fight from the opening round with explosive takedowns. Hallinan didn’t have answers on the ground as Esparza was going for a choke. Hallinan was caught with a rear naked choke only to be saved by the bell. In the second round it was the same story, Esparza with the takedowns. Only this time, Esparza got the choke and Hallinan tapped.

Chris Saunders def. Nick Reale Submission (Guillotine Choke) R1
This was a quick fight. Saunders got Reale in a guillotine. Reale tried to fight it by getting up. It seemed like Reale already escaped the submission when Saunders dug the choke deeper and got the win.

Reuben Duran def. Maurice Eazel Submission (Guillotine Choke) R1
For the main event, Duran got a guillotine as Eazel tried to go for a takedown. Both men were trading strikes beforehand but no one got the upper hand. Eazel actually fell unconscious from the choke. Never seen someone go down like that.
