Former MMA fighter Viacheslav Datsik  escaped from a mental hospital in St. Petersburg, Russia.  Datsik is known for his wild antics and knocking out former UFC heavyweight champ, Andrei Arlovski 11 years ago.  While Datsik was entertaining, his crappy record of 4-9, led him to steal cell phones so he could make money.  Datsik was caught and the courts found him to be unstable.  So they placed him in a low level mental ward where supposedly he killed some inmates.  Yesterday he escape from the ward by cutting the chain link fence.   After the escape, he was already reported to be stealing another cellphone from a store.

In comes the low energy and crazy looking MMA fighter, Aleksander Emelianenko.

He was interviewed by a Russian news channel regarding Datsik’s escape and this is what he said:

Alexander : I want to say right away , this guy is not a human being neither is he a sportsman , this is a rare case in our society . He has never shown great results in sports or somewhere else . This is just a fat thug who went to the streets , read some questionable books and now is outside on the streets of our city .
I want to say there are no such people in our sport , when people who knew him learned more about him they’ve turned their backs on him .

Reproter: We’ve heard he has freaking strength and doesn’t feel the pain … is it true ?!

Alexander : No , that’s not true … and I’ve asked my friends and people I train with if they see Datsik on the street to ask him to wait for me to arrive … we would see if he is really untouchable or not and if he feels the pain …

Reporter:  How dangerous is Datsik out there on the streets to regular people and not trained like you and your friends ? How should people who see him react ?

AE : He is very dangerous for regular people on the streets , he has trained before , he is a big guy , big build but has no brains at all . I want to tell people not to provoke him if they see him on the streets . If possible follow him and see where he goes to and inform the police .

What’s funny about the situation is that Aleksander is a former thug as well and he has been to prison many times.  But ever since he focused on MMA, he hasn’t been arrested ever since.  I like how Aleksander is willing to throwdown with a psycho. He’s like a real superhero, protecting Russia.
