Mighty Muggs: they’re cool, cute and affordable.
Muggs is the newest trend in the action figure industry. They’re 100% made from recyclable materials and retails for $10. I noticed these toys about 3 months ago but never bought them because I wasn’t sure if they were worth the money. The design looks cool but they somewhat look the same. The first figures I saw was from the Star Wars line, which included Darth Vader and Darth Maul.
The message boards I frequent, always talks about Mighty Muggs and how great they are. I saw some of the collections and it looked pretty good. Saw the Iron Man Comic Con exclusive figure and I knew I had to get it.
The day after the Comic Con ended, Hasbro put up the exclusive figure up on their site. It was a little bit pricier than the regular Muggs. I paid $23 for it, including shipping. But still better than buying it on ebay, which was going for about $35. After that, I went to Target and picked up Wolverine and Spider-Man, which was damn memorable because of the earthquake. Also ordered Darth Vader and Boba Fett online.
Today I picked up Captain America and Indiana Jones. Can’t wait to get my Iron Man, which should be here by Tuesday. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be covering the different lines and where Hasbro got the inspiration (It’s not from the U.S.).

I saw these about 3 weeks ago at Wal-mart. There was an Indiana Jones one and several Star Wars Muggs. My wife thought they were cute.
This is definitely more of a buy and show off type of thing, kind of like the Muny figures. ….Ugh now i want to get some!
