Everytime I hear Michael Mann’s name, I get excited. That’s because I’m a big fan of Last of the Mohicans and Heat. This time around, his next project could be a Period epic set in the world of Henry V. Or, he could go a different route and do another crime drama (Big Tuna) set in Chicago. But, wasn’t Public Enemies set in Chicago?
Either way, I’ll be happy but I’m hoping he would go for the Period epic, Agincourt. Here’s the synopsis from Deadline:
It’s about a “young man with a death sentence on his head who is saved when his skills with the bow catch the attention of king Henry V. The archer develops into a warrior and falls in love with a young woman whose virtue he saved from a lecherous priest.”
Estimated release date: 2012
