As I have been reading around message boards and other random places. I’ve come to realize that obtaining all of the newest Mcfarlane Halo figures (along with the upcoming ones too) will be tougher than anyone had expected. It is bad enough that most of the figures are exclusive to different companies so you wont be able to get them all in one shot at the stores. In series two from what i can see the Walmart ones are tough to get due to the fact most Walmarts’ could care less about collectors. For example, when I was at my walmart last i checked for halo figures and the Pegs with Halo barcodes were empty…. This was quite disappointing. (They aren’t sold out, we just haven’t gotten them in yet! So the shelves have been empty for a good 2-3 weeks now.) Anyways on with my story…..I asked a worker in electronics if someone could help me in the Toys and he tells me that no one is working over there and it would take too long to call someone then he walks off. So I walked to the crafts section and the lady tried to find someone and told me to just go back to the toys and someone should be over there soon. When i get there i see 2-3 people WORKING in the toys section. Quite annoying i must say, and once again they said they have no idea when they are coming in. And now I’m reading that a lot of Walmarts’ stopped getting them.
And to add to this stressful hunt- Series 3 multiplayer figures may be even harder to obtain. The Orange Hayabusa Spartan Solider is Exclusive to Game Station UK & Game Australia, so that will be a fun one to hunt down and/or pay crazy shipping prices to get.
Luckily the few I am looking to purchase are not exclusive to a far away company or company that could care less about figures or customers. I’m looking to get (Series 3- Multiplayer) Blue Combat Elite (Wish they had Violet- thats the color of my elite), Steele EOD Spartan, Violet CGB Spartan Soldier, and Crimson Soldier Scout.
So in the end I wish everyone the best in trying to obtain some of these hard to get figures.
Ohh and here’s a picture of my Elite in Halo (Im normally Violet, so im assuming this was during a ranked game)

Haha, what ever happened to their motto, “How may I help you?” It seems like when you try to look for them, they’re gone for the most part. This mostly happens to me in the electronics section. But that’s another story…

to sum it up, they’re pretty much a bunch of idiots.

McFarlane is really milking the Halo line. Can’t blame him, his others lines go on sale 1 month after its initial release. I’ll skip on this line because they’re too small. I’ll wait for the 7 inch figures coming out in November. Here’s a pic of Master Chief:

The guys that work in the department are told anything as far as stock goes. They usually dont find out they have something unitl there managers tell them to go in back and get them, or if there already on the shelf.
The figures look pretty cool, unfortunately im not a big enough halo fan to want these figures.
Well…except maybe that Elit in Halo, that one looks pretty cool.

I can pass on these figures even though I have all the Halo games. The last game left a sour taste in my mouth, dirt in my eyes, and tentacles in my ear…or was that Stranglehold?
