One of the coolest characters ever devised in the MOTU line, Trap Jaw is truly “Evil, and armed for combat!”
I recall the 80’s commercial well, where the character is sliding down a piece of string by the eyelet on the top of his head. The Classic’s figure also includes this eyelet as part of the head mold–but, that’s not all! Trap Jaw includes 3 weapons attachments for his cybernetic right arm. A nasty looking hook, a hinged pincer and his trademark laser. Also included is his well-known green belt with skull and crossbones upon the center. On the sides of the belt are loops that hold the other two arm attachments when not in use.
The MOTU Classic’s Trap Jaw figure is a culmination of the original and the 200X, part of the 200X is his origin of being the crazed, criminal Kronis. In order for Trap Jaw to be Kronis he is supplied with a second right arm that can be switched out with the cybernetic limb. This arm matches the left and is articulated the same as the left. Also included is a second head that is the face of Kronis in blue with gritting white teeth and angry black eyes. The helmet is the same in maroon and with these changes he is just as well a different character–man, I wish these were the figures when I was a kid, talk about a great imaginative playtime!
The back of the package features his bio and the package itself is a great collectible display.
Highly recommended!
