In the celebration of Cinco De Mayo Robert Rodriquez has talked FOX into releasing the MACHETE trailer with a special message directed at Arizona.  The timing of the release could not be more perfect because the content of the movie mirrors what is actually happening politically in the state.  Which is really weird since the movie was filmed exactly one year ago in Arizona.

Robert Rodriquez shares director duties with his long time editor Ethan Maniquis.  If you caught Rodriguez and Tarantino’s Grindhouse Double-Feature you already know a little bit of what to expect.  The star power behind this one is a doozy; Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Steven Seagal, and Don Johnson.  MACHETE slices his way into movie theaters September 3rd.
