Linkin Park is doing some serious business with Bandai Namco’s Gundam series. Not only is the band contributing their song “The Catalyst” as a theme song to the Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. arcade game, but a special edition of their latest album A Thousand Suns will come bundled with the “Full Vernian Linkin Park Edition” Gundam plastic model (“Gunpla”) that they helped design themselves.
“The Catalyst” is the first single off the CD which is set for worldwide release today. The special edition box set will be available in Japan on November 24 and will come with a Japan edition bonus track. For a little over $60, you can pre-order it here: Linkin Park
