In case you weren’t able to get a ticket to the sold out SDCC event, fear not, because there’s another more accessible con just a few hours away in Las Vegas. The first annual Las Vegas Comic Expo will be held at the Alexis Park Resort at the end of September. The first 100 people to book a room at the hotel will get a free ticket to the show, which is a great deal if you’re coming from out of town. It’s so much easier to have a room right there just steps from the event.
The guest list is growing but there are already a lot of big names on it. Here are some of who they’ve got so far:
Adam Hughes – Catwoman / Fables cover artist
David Finch – Batman Dark Knight Artist/Writer
Joe Benitez – Lady Mechanika
Mark Brooks – X-Men / Spider-Man cover artist
Nei Ruffino – Grimm Fairy Tales / Green Lantern Corps colorist/artist
Ale Garza – Deadpool / Superman – pencils, art
Chrissie Zullo – Hack Slash / Fables – cover art
Early-bird tickets are $20 for 1 day and $35 for the weekend (until July 31st when the prices go up $5). For more information, go to the Las Vegas Comic Expo website.
