GK films has acquired the rights to Tomb Raider from Square Enix, that awesome entertainment company who put out such gems as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Graham King and Tim Headington will produce the film which is slated for a 2013 release.  Believe it or not, the original two Tomb Raiders grossed over $400 mil. worldwide.  It makes sense that they would want to reboot this thing, what with the success of the video game and the two Jolie flicks.  Hopefully this time they’ll make the film less corny.  I remember Jolie saying that she liked the script because it wasn’t “campy” which is strange because that’s exactly what the film turned out to be!  Now to figure out who will play Lara Croft this time. In early 2009 it was rumored that Mega Fox would be donning the khaki shorts and crop top but her peeps denied it saying “Megan is not involved in this movie.”  So … Any suggestions?
