Sony has confirmed that Killzone 3 is coming to the Playstation 3. It starts right after Killzone 2 left off, with the death of Visari (Brian Cox), leaving behind a Helghast world of political scheming, infighting and outright murder. The game will feature levels ten times bigger than Killzone2, ranging from toxic wastelands to a lethal alien jungle.
“Of course, the knowledge we gleaned from the development of Killzone 2 allowed us to make a running start with Killzone 3,” adds Technical Director Michiel van der Leeuw. “By optimizing our technology further, we’ve been able to add new features, scale and variety. Killzone 3 is going to have a lot of eye-popping moments in store for players.”
Here’s a very interesting news. The game will be fully playable in Stereoscopic 3D. I can’t wait to see how 3D can really immerse a player in the games they’re playing. You can check out my review for Killzone 2 here.
