Comingsoon.net has reported that the third untitled Batman movie will begin shooting in New Orleans in April.  WB’s reason for the location shoot is the tax break they get  at the Big Easy.  The internet heard about the news and they’re speculating that the main reason is for Killer Croc.  In the comics, Killer Croc is a crocodile wrestler turned criminal.  Most readers know him as a character that really looks like a crocodile with dark green scaly skin and a tale.  But in the graphic novel, Joker, written by Brian Azzarello and artist Lee Bermejo, Croc is portrayed as a thug, a large, muscular African American man with a scaly skin condition.  This version of Croc would work in Christopher Nolan’s realistic Batman universe.  I don’t think Croc would be the main villain because I don’t see him as much of a threat as Joker or Rha’s Al Ghul were.  Croc would be good as the enforcer.

I don’t believe the fact that WB is willing to sacrific the real location of Gotham aka Chicago to save some taxes.  Batman is a big franchise for them and shooting in a different location could make ruin the feel of the first two movies.
