iOS 4.2 update for the iPad, iPhone and iPod has been making the rounds today on various website. This isn’t the “official” release but a file that someone probably took from the Apple server. If it’s installed, your Apple product warranty will be void but I know a bunch of people will still install it anyways. The iPad will benefit the most from the update.
These are the major upgrades:
– Creating folders and putting up to 12 apps in it
– Multitasking: now you can use other apps without going back to the home page
– Email Unification: Download and access all your e-mails (if you have multiple) at once
– Airprint: Print wirelessly from your iPad
The official release of the update is suppose to come out sometime this week so I sugeest you wait and not void your warranty.
