Jonathan Glapion inks one of the story’s (Batman: Court of Owls) most memorable art. An owl swoops in and crushes the Bat. A symbol of Batman’s weakness against the Court of Owls. The art sums the whole concept of the story, not just from Batman’s perspective, but also from the previous generations of Waynes.
Glapion’s inking of Greg Capullo’s art is impressive. The inkers don’t get as much credit as the main artists do. Many readers, including myself, got the wrong idea that all they do is trace. I was wrong. As Glapion demonstrates, there’s still much artistic decisions to be made by Inkers.
