After a few days of speculation, it appears as if Marvels second big movie for 2014 (the other being Captain America 2) is Guardians of the Galaxy. The film is apparently set to appear at this year’s San Diego Comic Con along with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2.
Marvel studio has apparently prioritized this over Black Panther, although they are also said to be working on Ant-Man, Dr. Strange and The Inhumans (as well as The Avengers 2 in 2015).
Nicole Perlman has written two drafts of the screenplay (she has also impressed Marvel with Black Widow solo script) and worked on Thor. Despite this, Marvel is still looking for a director for the film.
So what do you guys think of this recent development? Are you excited to see this team on the big screen or are you still in shock that the Guardians are getting a movie while heroes like Wonder Woman and Flash still can’t?
