Mark your calendars for May 9th, because Nintendo will be unleashing what I think will be their ultimate Wii bundle. In addition to the Wii console, Nunchuk, Wii-mote and Wii Sports game, the bundle will include the Wii MotionPlus accessory and Wii Sports Resort game at no extra cost. The bundle’s retail price will still be $199.99 in the United States. Nintendo sure is smart to do this since the other companies are trying to cash in on the whole motion control craze this year with Sony’s Playstation Move and Microsoft’s Natal. But wait, there’s more, you can choose between having a white Wii or a black Wii. I hear chicks really dig the black Wii.
“Nintendo leads the way in delivering rich motion-control gaming experiences at an accessible price point,” said Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime. “By including even more of our top-quality hardware and software in the basic Wii system package, we’re extending that commitment to entertainment and value. Now more than ever, consumers can count on Nintendo to deliver inclusive fun and advanced motion controls at a mass-market price.”

Update: Reggie “The Man” himself has an announcement video up.
