So two months ago, I re-activated my gamefly account because there were new games coming out including Portal 2 and L.A. Noire.  I think paying $50-$60 for each is too much, so I went with the rentals.  Over the two months, I probably played a total of 6 games.  Not bad for $22 per month.  I thought my membership was going to be due on the 22nd of this month, so I tried to cancel it on Sunday.  When I looked at my account, it was just renewed for another month.  It turned out my membership started on the 18th, so the 19th (Sunday) was the start of another billing.  I e-mailed their customer service right away, asking them if I can cancel their service and get a refund (they automatically charge your credit card).  Today, I got an e-mail stating they’re going to refund me the charge and asked if I can send out the games back to them ASAP.  They didn’t give me a hard time or anything, which I was actually surprise.  I stopped my subscription because I’ve checked out all of the games I’ve wanted to play.  But come November, when the blockbuster games come out, I’ll be back on Gamefly!
