Its really hard to choose one between the four movies (I’m not including prometheus, because even that it shows something like an Alien, its on a different timeline). But I’ll have to say that the second one “Aliens” is one of the best ones. I really had fun with that one and the Aliens were like real killing machines and Ripley was an awesome killer, just when she puts the two guns together using duct tape, that is like indisputable one of the best scenes in Aliens.

My favorite Alien was the first one…uh, Alien.
I’m not sure what it was about that movie. It just had a way of getting inside you. It wasn’t long before I was swelling with fanboyism for Ridley Scott. The wait for Prometheus was so agonizing, I thought I was literally going to burst.

By and far the first one for sheer terror value. Ridley Scott’s fear-inducing visuals have stayed with me. Went to a theater re-release on Halloween a few years ago and it still made me shiver!

The first Alien was the pinnacle of scary suspense and my favorite. The second Aliens comes close, but only for the legendary Space Marine lines; game over man.

Alien is my favorite. The reason being is that I saw this movie in theaters while I was basting in my Mom’s uterus. Although, my Mom did not particularly enjoy the film, I was so excited and thrilled by this film that I could have burst out to meet the world right then. At least, that’s what my Mom said.

ALIENS from 1986. Why? Because, they not only had one alien, but a whole bunch of ’em! And the story is friggin fantastic. James Cameron is a genius!

Aliens because it’s a rare occasion when the sequel is as good or better than the original (Godfather II also achieves this). And the character of Ripley was better defined with the addition of Newt.
